Maxid1 3 года назад You can also use a razor knife to break the bond in the grout between tiles. It's quicker than sawing it out and eliminates potential damage from a grout saw. I've used it over and over again when removing a section and have completely eliminated transmission of the crack line to the next tile. It only takes a few passes too. But it will take a few blades if you're doing a lot of tiles.

  • Maxid1
Maxid1 3 года назад I pull short of the edges with the thinset when I lay a tile, just to keep it out of the grout line. It presses into that area once you get your amount figured out and reduces the amount of grout line raking you have to do. That's my least favorite thing to do, clean thinset out of the grout line.
